About Tom:
I’ve been part of two software startups. From 1999 to 2002, I helped design and build the back-end of Audiogalaxy.com, a distributed music sharing service that peaked at thirty-five million users and eighty million page views a day. After Audiogalaxy was shut down due to some RIAA trouble, I co-founded Foldershare.com. At Foldershare, I designed and built a client and back-end service that let users access and sync their files across the internet. Foldershare was acquired by Microsoft in 2005, and in 2008, I left Microsoft to spend some quality time with my wife and our new baby.

About the name:
I’m actually less spiteful than you might think. I registered it back in ‘98 when I realized all the English word domain names were vanishing. Maybe I was irritated about that? I don’t really remember.
